We are specialized in working with people over 50 and love helping you to get stronger and fitter, making sure you can keep doing the things you love most.
Maintaining mobility, strength flexibility and balance are important at any age. We want to keep our brains working in top form, and we want to keep our bones strong, so that we can continue to enjoy time with our children or grandchildren, play games and be able to walk or visit a museum or attraction. Maybe you want to keep joining your friends on walks in nature, and be able to partake in your hobbies without pain.
We don’t expect you to have the body or brain of a 20 year old
Maybe you have had a knee or hip replacement, or you want to prevent that from happening. Maybe you have some nagging aches or pains, arthritis or high blood pressure, and you know that exercise might help, but you are not quite sure where to start.
Maybe you become aware that your balance isn’t as good as it used to be, or your achy back and neck muscles keep trying to tell you that your posture maybe isn’t as good as it could be.
I love solving problems and together with you, I would love to develop an exercise program that is specifically designed for you, your body, your challenges, and most of all, your goals. We start where you are right now, fit or not so fit, strong or not so strong, coordinated or not so much.
We want you to have fun and be comfortable
Our exercises are designed around you, and we will not give you inappropriate exercises that are great for a 20 or 30 year old, but just won’t do for you. Exercise should feel challenging, but not uncomfortable. It should be fun!
I work and have worked with many people with both osteo- and rheumatic arthritis, hip and knee pains, osteopenia and osteoporosis. I have extensive experience of working with people with Parkinson’s, and I have achieved great results with people that have wanted to improve their mobility and balance after recovery from stroke.

We work Outdoors or Indoors in the Herne Hill, Camberwell, Dulwich area in South East London, or via Zoom anywhere in the world. Our indoor sessions are usually at https://www.fisonfitness.co.uk/ on Milkwood Road in Herne Hill.
